W.O.W. - Women of Worth for girls  is a national organization of local clubs that takes a stand against the limited and often degrading images of young women depicted in much of today's popular social culture.

The curriculum is designed to give young women a forum to discuss the moral and ethical challenges they face. It presents such topics as self-esteem, validation, healthy coping strategies, dealing with “mean girl” behavior and relational aggression, setting boundaries with our bodies, and how to choose a boyfriend.

Set within the context of the “Warrior Princess” (because it’s not enough just to sit around and look pretty) W.O.W. for girls empowers adolescent and pre-adolescent women to develop character and  moral integrity, take responsibility for their choices, and give back to their communities.

Event Success: "Weapons of Integrity"

The “Weapons of Integrity” presentation introduces young women to the W.O.W. for girls way of life by discussing the topics of personal validation and self-esteem, identifying and coping with “mean girl” behavior, and setting boundaries with and choosing a boyfriend.   Between each topic, the participants enjoy a three course tea, and receive a starter W.O.W. for girls hat box containing object lesson items:  a tea cup and saucer, river rock stones, an Italian charm bracelet, and a filling your spirit teacup charm

As an on-campus club, young women meet bi-monthly: first as a large group for an object lesson where the topic is introduced, then in small discussion groups led by a female adult.
